Due Diligence
Greenwich Financial Group offers pre-commitment due diligence
reviews which provide independent evaluations of the products,
services, operations, financial reporting systems and controls
and management of companies to which lenders or investors are
contemplating providing funding. The evaluation provides additional
information to be considered before a firm financial commitment
is made. As such, it is a helpful tool in making a more informed
credit or investment decision. It also provides information which
can be used in the crafting of the lending or investment instruments
for the benefit of the lending or investing entities.
Turnaround Management
Greenwich Financial Group offers a process-driven approach to
quickly assess a distressed company's situation and offer stakeholders
clear recommendations regarding moving forward. We start by undertaking
a Situation Analysis which provides a clear, factual assessment
of the current situation, including a review of its products,
services, operations, capital structure, reporting systems and
controls and management team capabilities. We analyze the situation,
determine the immediate needs and develop action plans.
The next phase is to implement a recovery plan, which often
involves re-engineering the company's processes and rationalizing
its operations. To obtain optimum results, our professionals
are available to assume key managerial roles within the company
on an interim basis. We attend to the vital aspects of the business
- cash flow, bank and creditor relationships, and vendor and
employee relations.
Our professionals are experienced in all aspects of reorganization
and rehabilitation, including bankruptcies and non-court appointed
reorganizations.
Using our proven process and focused approach, Greenwich Financial
Group helps companies emerge in a rehabilitated state. We work
with the management, equity holders and creditors to determine
the key indicators for the business and develop methods to monitor
performance. We establish methods, systems and procedures designed
to help the company avoid future pitfalls that can lead to a
crisis recurrence.

Refinancings
Deteriorating company performance will frequently result in
pressure on funding availability and associated "lender
fatigue". Changes to a company's capital base brought about
by rising debt and declining net worth, can result in the company's
incumbent lender becoming uncomfortable with its exposure - yet
the same position may fit the portfolio appetite of other lending
institutions.
Greenwich Financial Group can help. Using our expansive knowledge
of the lending landscape, we can act swiftly to help a company
find the correct lending relationship to meet its situation.
Our relationships in the lending industry allow us to open doors
to companies that were not previously open. And, a recovery plan
created in conjunction with our professionals provides added
weight to the company's recovery story.
Our services typically include preparing a refinancing Information
Memorandum, identifying prospective capital sources (including
mezzanine debt and equity, if appropriate), presentations to
lenders and negotiating term sheets on behalf of the company.

Operations Integration
Many companies have recently experienced the impact of - or
are currently contemplating - mergers and acquisitions. These
activities take a tremendous amount of management time and can
cause problems managing normal operations.
Greenwich Financial Group professionals are able to assess operations
at both the existing company and the merger / acquisition target,
and then work with the stakeholders to develop operations integration
plans. We have seen the problems associated with mergers and
acquisitions that are not completed - the expense reductions
that never materialize the integration and information flow that
does not occur, etc. We help build an integration plan and an
associated time line to measure progress, to either correct or
avoid such pitfalls.
We conduct site visits to the merger / acquisition target and
the client company. We develop an overall plan and then a detailed
operational time line to implement the plan. This approach allows
visibility of the overall plan, development of the details to
make it happen and measure progress against the time by which
actions should occur.

can quickly assess the critical issues facing the company, recommend
solutions, and then work alongside management to resolve the
situation. We are crisis management experts, and can rapidly

its potential. Our strengths lie in our ability to effectively
implement operational change.

volume, or a misguided strategy, Greenwich Financial Group quickly
brings order from chaos. ck to Top
